My 10,000 Word Reward
I am following Sarra Cannon’s advice and giving myself a 10,000 word reward. In fact, I am rewarding myself as I hit each 10,000 word milestone in my novel (20,000, 30,000, etc), and I reached 10,000 words!!!
So, in celebration, I bought myself a plant:
Look at this cute little bugger!
I felt like the best thing I could do to keep myself writing as the days get shorter was to reward myself with something that brought a little bit of brightness, a little bit of life into my writing space. Hopefully this helps push me forward also, as I am a little behind!
Are you all rewarding your milestones? What kinds of rewards are you using? What is motivating you in this second week?
I might need to try this I am so far behind but have four days off work to kick myself up the backside and try to get back on track.
I reward myself with video game time. But… What kind of plant is it?
I should probably use video games as a reward and not as procrastination. Good on you!
It’s a ZZ plant, Zamioculcas zamiifolia 🙂
